(Chaired by Assistant Professor of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Special Education Teachers, and members of the Festival Organizing Committee)

Films from the United Kingdom, Spain, Nigeria, and Italy explore aspects of neurodiversity through stories of personal expression, creativity, and empowerment. The theme focuses on the visibility and self-representation of individuals on the autism spectrum, highlighting ways in which they find space to express their needs, talents, and identity. From art and photography to sports and diving, the narratives reveal the paths that open up when individuals' choices are respected and supported. At the same time, they present the challenges they often encounter in family, school, and social environments, as well as moments when acceptance transcends prejudice. The discussion accompanying the screenings reinforces the dialogue around inclusion, understanding, and the importance of empowering individuals on the spectrum themselves.
