Reflection of disability in art Internatonal Festival
The purpose of the International Festival “Reflection of Disability in Art” (iRoDi Festival) is to highlight art through the perspective of disability. The idea starts from the inalienable right of people with disabilities to express themselves through art, either amateur or professional. The festival is meant to reflect the skills of people with disabilities and the opportunities that each society has to provide to each individual, contributing to the cultural identity of the individual and society.

Important milestones
December 2018: Original idea of the Festival “Reflection of Disability in Art”.
March 2018: Approval of the Festival’s organization by the Department of Educational and Social Policy and the Department of Music and Art of the University of Macedonia.
April 2018: Approval of the Festival’s organization by the Senate.
Summer 2018: The Festival “Reflection of Disability in Art” is supported by the Thessaloniki Film Festival.
April 2019: The Festival is established in the institutions of the University of Macedonia.
Summer 2019: The 2nd Festival “Reflection of Disability in Art” is under the auspices of Η.Ε. the President of the Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos.
December 2020: The Festival is established as international.
Autumn 2020: The 3rd Festival "Reflection of disability in Art" is under the auspices of Η.Ε. the President of the Republic Katerina Sakelaropoulou.
Autumn 2021: The 3rd Festival "Reflection of disability in Art" is again under the auspices of Η.Ε. the President of the Republic Katerina Sakelaropoulou.
