One of the permanent collaborators of Theodoros Angelopoulos  in some of the most important films of the author, among which, Reconstitution (1970), Days of '36 (1972), The Travelling Players (1975), Ulysses' Gaze, Eternity and a Day (Palm D’ Or at the Cannes Film Festival, 1998). Among other distinctions, he has been awarded nine (9) times by the Thessaloniki Film Festival, for the Best Photography. During his career he has collaborated with some of the greatest Greek directors such as Dinos Katsouridis, Pantelis Voulgaris, Michalis Kakogiannis but also with Jules Dassen. Georgia Fyka has been working for several years to support the rights of people with disabilities focusing on disability policies and the Movement for Independent Living.
