FILM SCREENING "SHADOWS IN THE LIGHT"

Post-Event Survey

Films from Portugal, Germany, France, Iran, China, Poland, Ireland and Argentina will depict shadows in the light, focusing on various aspects of life.

Vasco André dos Santos' film "Root" conveys the magic of the human body and UrlikeKorbach's film "Shade guzzling" seeks the core of life through bipolar disorder, as "shading". Focusing on music, Bouchra Anissa's film, "I only see what I believe", narrates the story of Laeticia, a blind woman who has the ability to perceive colors through music (chromesthesia) and allows us to "see the music" and "hear the colors" through her own eyes. But how can we experience true contact with someone? What if this person belongs to the autism spectrum? The answer is probably in the audiovisual art, in the screen, through the eyes of K. Sarkyte in his film "The contact". In the shadow of everyday life there are always the rights, on which the film "Limits" by JavadDaraei focuses, whilein the animated video “TATATA”, the creator Sun YiYang highlights the lack of emotional bonds around usthrough three sculptural figures. The paintings in Tadeusz Kabicz's film "The uncommons" reflect the colorful reality, a reality that for some must touch the imagination to change, as in the film "Little fairy tree" from Ireland, produced by Frank Kelly. Of course, dance and love, through Sol Rulloni's film "After the eclipse", always find the opportunity to be born into an unjust and biased society.
