DESCRIPTION:
The documentary concerns the history of the Autonomous Women's Group of Thessaloniki, which was based in the city from 1985-1995. As Mrs. Meniki mentions: Some of us met 16 years after our last meeting and two more meetings followed. In 2011, after my own personal losses and dark passages, I felt very strong the need to find the women we participated in the Autonomous Women's Group (1985-1995), the Katines, almost middle-aged. The meeting was set in Thessaloniki, in an ouzeri of a very good friend of the team, in Sassos. We met with great joy and great anguish. Hugs, emotion, wonder, embarrassment, stage fright, tenderness and nostalgia. That was the trigger for the documentary to be created.
